You’re probably asking yourself what dancing has to do with meditating. Am I right?
Surprisingly enough, meditating and dance have a lot more in common than you may think. One type of meditation is known as Dance Meditation and I think it’s pretty obvious in this case that it’s a form of active meditation.
Active meditation is all about being in the moment and experiencing the movements of the body and how everything flows together so it makes sense that there are various types of dancing meditations available today. In this practice, it’s important to not think about the actions of the body, but rather feel the energy flow and become truly present in the special moment. Dance and twirl away to your hearts desire!
