What is Healing Meditation?

Healing meditation is precisely what is says- Healing ones emotional or physical body through meditation.

It’s a simple form of meditation and similar to other forms of meditation, visualization often plays an important role. Many healing meditations incorporate the white light that is also involved in chakra meditation. Healing meditation focuses on releasing the stresses that we hold throughout the body and as the stresses release, toxins naturally flow from the body allowing space for new, healing energy to emerge.

To start your healing meditation practice, follow these 5 simple steps.

1. Sit in a comfortable, relaxed position.
2. Make sure nothing will interrupt you. Turn off your phone, shut of the tv and close your laptop!
3. Allow yourself to become deeply present and aware of your surroundings.
4. Take deep breaths and begin to unwind.
5. Focus on different parts of your body and identify any pain, negative blockages or ailments that are present.
Now visualize the pain dissolving away and watch it being replaced with clean, pure healing light
