Osho Meditation is not one particular type of meditation, but rather a collective of active meditations created by Osho.
Osho is a famous Indian spiritual and philosophical teacher who has introduced many controversial ideas to people world wide. He is a famous author and has written many books on meditation, intimacy and love, creativity, intuition and much, much more.
According to Osho, meditation happens when we’re “not doing” or rather, when our mind is not occupied. As with other types of meditation, Osho agrees that when the mind s free of clutter, we are truly present in time and that a deep connection and sense of self-awareness is achieved.
There are two main types of meditation and these are passive and active meditation.
Passive meditation occurs when you sit in a static position for a period of time whereas active meditation is exactly how it sounds, ACTIVE!
Osho believes in active meditation and has created many types of meditating techniques that involve movement. While constant movement may seem like doing, it actually leads to non-doing because repeated movements allow us to go into a meditative, present state.
Some types of Osho Meditations include:
Osho Dynamic Meditation- Osho Kundalini Meditation – Osho Nataraj Meditation -
Osho Nadabrahma Meditation - Osho Gourishankar Meditation – Osho Mandala Meditation – Osho Whirling Meditation
